Pneumatic Mine Seal Benefits:

Pneumatic Stowing uses high velocity air to move material. It has been used in mining to:

• Backfill mine cavities
• Construct ventilation seals

• Used where water will not accumulate behind seal
• Will pneumatically convey material into the entry until the face of the fill is flsuh with existing surface of the slope
• Prevents unauthorized entry into the mine
• Unmodified aggregate or cement may be added to provide a more tamper resistant seal
